essie; find me an oasis

gorgeous color from the new(ish) resort line. i’m so obsessed. it’s the perfect pale blue that i’ve been wearing all spring long.

upcoming soon: burberry goodness. stay tuned!!

essie; no place like chrome + zoya; purity

hi guys, it’s been a while. my nails are a bit of a mess. last year was a rough year for me. my pup passed away and it sucked all the wind from of my sails. couple that with a death in the family, and i just lost the drive to keep up with my blog or my nails.

thanks for all of you who have stuck with me. i’m going to start trying to post again. fall fashion month is wrapping up and while i didn’t keep up with it, i’ll check out some of the nails from the shows and pick a few cool ones to show you.

but for now, while my nails grow and heal, i’m doing a few neat designs i’ve missed from my favorite blog, miss ladyfinger, where i first caught the nail art bug.

essie; parka perfect

it’s parka perfect weather this black friday, that’s for sure. stay warm out there. from essie’s winter collection.

essie; on a silver platter

essie also released a new luxe effects collection along with their winter collection. the collection is rightly called encrusted treasures and features many textured polishes — many of them very unique compared with the other textured polishes out there currently. here’s my favorite, on a silver platter.

essie; sable collar

hi, i’m back from sabbatical. i’ll return to posting nyfw (and lfw and mfw and pfw) nails soon, but for today, check out this pretty color from essie’s winter collection.

nails from the tibi show, done by jin soon. the vertical and horizontal lines mean ‘alright’ in a code used by hobos to discreetly communicate with each other. for the nails, jin soon used two colors from her own line, obsidian, and an unreleased grayish white color. details coming up soon.

ps, sorry for being away!

butter london; yummy mummy, hen party + matte top coat

nails from the tadashi shoji show. my full post is coming up in a bit, but for now, check out my favorites from the collection. (ps, i want the middle dress, like yesterday.)

deborah lippmann; pseudo silk kimono

i love this new polish by deborah lippmann, who is the queen of polishes that don’t need topcoats. (see this.) it’s a new texture i haven’t seen before, sort of like a matte satin. i couldn’t capture it well on camera, but in person, it’s very shiny!
